Car Licence (Cat B) straight to Class 1 (Cat C + E) - Driver Training

This complete 8-day package is for anyone wanting to take advantage of the 15th of November 2021 changes that allow you to bypass the Class 2 test and go straight for your Class 1 test!

This course also includes the Driver CPC Initial Qualification.

Please note: This course will include 4 days in a Class 2 vehicle to begin with, to help you gain confidence when starting your LGV driving training.

The Class 1 is for vehicles with tractor unit & trailer with the combined weight of the legal maximum of up to 44 tonnes. For this course we use full size articulated vehicles, the vehicle is Automatic- again if you have the manual car licence, you can pass in an automatic vehicle and the manual licence will carry over.

What you can expect from our training packages:

8-days – 32 hours on road practical driving (4 days in Class 2 (Cat C) and 4 days in Class 1 (C + E), inclusive of test time, this can also be extended to a 10-day course – 40 hours, at an additional cost.
You will be provided with a link to apply for your D2 & D4 forms. (The D2 form is the licence application form you complete to get the provisional entitlement to drive the vehicle of your choice as a learner and the D4 is the medical application form which you must take with you when attending your medical).
Medical (Booked at a date and time to suit you).

3 Theory Test Fees (LGV Multiple Choice, LGV Hazard Perception, and LGV CPC Case Study Mod 2).
32 hours of vehicle and instructor hire (All our LGV training vehicles have automatic gearboxes. From April 2014 you get a full manual licence even if you take it in an auto, providing you passed your car test in a manual).
Driver CPC Mod 4 practical training.
DVSA Driver CPC Module 4 practical demonstration test fee.
DVSA C+E Module 3a (off-road) test fee.
DVSA C+E Module 3b (on-road) test fee.
VAT which is payable on the training costs. (Test fees are exempt from VAT)

£3,290.00 inclusive of VAT and all test fees.

Candidate Requirements:

You must be 18 or over.
Have a UK car driving licence.
You must bring your driving licence with you when going for your theory, and your practical tests.
Your photo card licence must be in date (New photo every 10 years).
